Michael Simon has signed a new two-book deal with Annie Stone of Podium Audio. His novel, Extinction, and its sequel will be released by the international publisher in 2024.

After a plague decimates Earth, a discredited military officer must battle starvation, insurrection and the perils of deep space to save humanity’s last colony.

Earlier this year, Simon announced a three-book deal with Aethon Books to publish his First Command trilogy, hitting shelves in 2024.

Michael Simon is currently represented by Storm Literary Agency and specializes in science fiction, military science fiction and fantasy. In addition to his writing, he is a practicing Family Physician working in Eastern Canada.
